Flight path from SanFran to Shanghai

 

This is a picture I took using my Ipod of the in-flight entertainment center that was at my seat. This shows the flight path that I took to Shanghai.   I only watched one movie, Space Cowboys and two TV episodes.  I try to read but I fall asleep after just a few minutes, book reading was never a strong point for me. I did get through my emails that were unread from my vacation time.  It was a really uneventful flight except I have a cold and some kind of poison oak/ivy on my arm.  Nothing worse than being sick on a plane; THANKS MOM!

China trip 2

About to take off from San Francisco non-stop to Shanghai. Flight from Orlando went fast with no headwinds. Took about 4.5 hrs. This will be my routine flight group going forward. Flight time is just under 14 hours from SanFran. This is a newly configured 777 which seems nice. It is 4 PM Est Sunday, I started today at 4:15 AM. I land in Shanghai Monday evening at 5pm.I am traveling with my Director and another manager.  Susan has a full schedule planned so this should be a good trip.

Statesboro-2011 Thanksgiving

Thankful for family, good weather and time off from work. Sally and I drove up Sunday while Chance was in classes through Tuesday. We left Stephanie at home so she could have a party!  The two of them along with a friend from Church drove up Wednesday morning. It was a good break from work; although I did take a call from Shanghai whilst sitting around the fire.I did some work around Mom and Dad's house, we went four wheeling with Will and got in a bike ride.  Great trip.

Turkey Trot

2011 Annual Florida Land Cruiser Association Turkey Trot was a great success.  Four FJ-40s, 2 - 60s, 1-62, 1-80 and 2-FJCs made up this years trail ride at Hard Rock.

At the Wizarding World of HP

Harry Potter fans having a forced family fun day at Universal Orlando Island of Adventure.  Great weather, no lines and good food at the park.

Morning ritual

Many mornings I drive my little girl to school. I act like it is a pain but the truth is I get 10min of alone time with steph which is so rare.Neither of us are conversationalists but I really do enjoy it.  Soon she will get her parking permit and this ritual will come to an end.

Moon rising over central florida

 

As we approached the Florida peninsula the moon was rising in the East.  This Ipod photo does not do justice to how cool it was seeing the moon on the horizon as we flew over Tampa.

Another LA trip

Heading out to LA for three full day meetings. Last night I checked into this delta flight and was #2 on the upgrade list. Hour before the flight I am number 11 with only 2 seats available. Makes me realize I am still in the minor leagues when it comes to number of flights I have in my reward program bank.
This is the first time I rented a car. Should be fun. I just remembered I forgot my GPS.
